"Something I've never thought I'd enjoy this much while job hunting"
NextDoor.Company's vision is to be the best job platform on the internet. Alongside inventing a new interface to discover jobs on a map, the bet on deep insights about a company, it's financial data, its founders & other nauances are why users love & rave about it. Here are some more cool things folks have said after using NextDoor.Company. Hope to see you here my friend!
I loved your product. Loved that international jobs are there for remote profiles, so much well thought out. Very intuitive to use, I did not feel the need to use the onboarding guide. Rotating the globe is fun. Also with the interactions and visuals it is working quite smoothly. Loving using it.
I am glad you built this! I think this is one of those things that everyone wishes existed, but nobody actually gets around to making it a reality. But thankfully you did. I'm glad that there are quality startups only on a map that's super slick to use with features that feel like a natural next step, this is a game changer. Now I go to Linkedin for feed and NextDoor.Company for actual listings 😅 Got to say - that favicon is my favorite lil thing 👀
The product is so beautiful to use. Very very delightful! I love the design language. The glows and shimmers, microintetactions are a delight that are much needed in the exhausting work of job hunting 🥹. I got so much information in each company click. Honestly since the last few days on other platforms I started to blindly apply everywhere because I lack the patience to search for stuff in multiple places. The investment details, founder info, even the crisp description is 🤌🏽
I've found NextDoor.Company to be a super helpful addition to my job search journey. Being able to find jobs on a map instead of an endless scroll list is extremely practical. Surfing jobs knowing their exact locations is something that I've never thought I'd enjoy this much, and it's actually super easy to navigate the jobs and "view in side bar" is actually so useful. Overall, my experience has been nothing short of delightful, and I 100% recommend this to all job seekers out there.
Startups that are hiring on a map is such a brilliant idea & Sankalp absolutely nailed it! I signed up for the beta lifetime access, and I’m seriously impressed by how seamless it is to explore startup opportunities. Company details, open positions, everything is right there and so easy to navigate. The quick filters make it effortless to funnel and target the startups folks are most interested in.
NextDoor.Company has made my job hunting process pretty easy. I can easily view every startup that's actively hiring, saving me a lot of time on manual tasks
Overall, it’s been great! It really gives me the feeling of having a bird’s-eye view of the city I’m exploring. The experience feels comprehensive and intuitive.
I’ve been using NextDoor.Company since the day it launched, and even in its first month the product has felt surprisingly thoughtful and dependable. Sankalp has been incredibly attentive to feedback, and you can see it reflected in how quickly the experience improves.
Finally tried the platform and it’s honestly spot on. It feels intuitive. The data is super relevant. And I really like how it positions everything as “neighbourhood jobs.” Love that touch :)
I really like the product because I was specifically looking for jobs near me, and this gave me the freedom to decide within the city itself. Being able to zoom in and choose an exact area, even down to a specific part of HSR, is very powerful and something I found genuinely useful.
Found NextDoor.Company while randomly exploring new job platforms and honestly didn’t expect much — but it surprised me. The map-based job discovery is super intuitive and helped me find startups I’d never come across otherwise. Clean UI, no clutter, and actually useful.
Really liked this new approach to job search from NextDoor.Company. The UX feels smooth, it’s concise, and you get all the key info at a glance without digging around.
NextDoor.Company really made job hunting a fun exploration experience. The 3D globe with pop-ups of companies hiring is way more immersive and intuitive than basic listings of jobs. And providing to the point information about every company with direct link to the job application truly helps job seekers (especially freshers with no corporate experience). When I got to know that a product designer with 13+ yrs of experience is building this platform, it was a no-brainer for me. Sankalp really dug deep and understood the nuance of the problem.
Thanks for building this. Really like the idea of having startup discovery and job details in one place feels genuinely useful during a job hunt. Rooting for the product excited to see how you make it even better 🍻
The moment you land on the product, you just know this was made by a designer. The concept is really simple. Startups hiring near you. But the execution is where it gets interesting, instead of the usual boring list with 27 filters nobody uses, you get a fully interactive map, you move around, zoom in, explore companies geographically. It feels less like “apply for job” and more like “discover what’s happening around me”. I haven’t seen job discovery done like this before. The interaction makes a difference. You’re not endlessly scrolling and getting overwhelmed. You’re navigating, from Bangalore to Gurgaon where do I as a user want my next gig to be. When a product feels thoughtful from the first click, it’s evident that someone cared while building it.
Great product for experienced candidates looking for a job switch. Map based hiring opportunities excel in providing smooth user experience. Essential filters such as location are included. Declutters existing way of job search.
I started using NextDoor.Company around mid-January. The UI is very clean and intuitive. I especially like how it highlights companies that are nearby. That makes discovery very easy and relevant. Overall, the product direction is strong. Looking forward to future updates.
A great platform to see the job opportunities in startups. The attached description per company makes it easier to understand the nuance of the startup. The whole map workflow is pretty fun and intuitive. Filters were really helpful on the side to filter out what I needed.
NextDoor.Company is job search on steroids! It's super easy to snag killer roles. And the map interface is straight up magic. You can put yourself in the right neighborhood and see which startups are hiring in the block. Got a few interview calls from the companies I found and applied to from NextDoor.Company
I found NextDoor.Company to be a genuinely fresh take on job discovery. The curated approach and focus on high-signal companies makes it stand out from traditional job boards. The performance and discovery experience will continue to improve as it scales, but the core idea is strong and very relevant for today’s job seekers. Excited to see how this evolves.
I came across the platform last month when I was actively exploring new roles. I had tried most of the major job portals available at the time, and what immediately caught my attention about your product was the spatial way you presented opportunities. Being able to see roles laid out in a single visual view was refreshing and genuinely fun to explore. And I was also looking for roles in the startup ecosystem so it was a good fit. From a design perspective, it felt like a thoughtful attempt to rethink how people navigate job discovery rather than simply replicating the typical list-based portals. One challenge in the job market is that these roles are already quite limited online (especially senior roles) and they’re often buried under broader “design” listings. When I explored the opportunities on your platform, I could see many design roles. Overall, it’s an interesting product to use and I am sending recommendations to my friends for them to use.
I purchased the lifetime subscription because I strongly believe this product has serious potential and will only grow bigger over time. Genuinely enjoying watching the vision evolve.
Job hunting can be so depressing and monotonous but NextDoor.Company felt like a game, which was kind of a relief. I really liked how fun it is using your platform and it has everything a jobseeker want. Your platform grabs the attention even if someone is not on job hunt. I even told my friends about it the moment I saw it. Looking forward to use it more.
NextDoor.Company has been an excellent platform for discovering exciting opportunities in the startup world. The site is easy to navigate, and I quickly found roles that matched my interests and skills. For anyone looking to grow their career in startups, NextDoor.Company is a reliable and inspiring resource.
I genuinely found the platform very good and easy to navigate. It was very accessible and showed multiple job openings near my home, which was honestly very convenient. As a new mom, that locality-based approach really stood out for me. Overall, the platform is very thoughtfully designed, especially for people looking for nearby opportunities and flexibility.
I got to know about the product from a friend who saw it on an Instagram reel by an influencer. It was a very refreshing job hunting experience. I really enjoyed using the map to search for the companies, It felt more real.
Found a lot of new startups in India that I hadn’t seen anywhere before. I definitely prefer using your platform compared to LinkedIn or traditional job platforms. Love the UI broadly, it feels intuitive. The filters are easy to handle and responsive. All the best!
I came across a lot of startup companies in the west part of USA because of your platform. Landed a couple of interviews as well! The platform is really great for job hunt + company hunt - like not many job seekers approach those companies because they're small, they don't market themselves much. Your platform brings them to light and I was lucky enough to get those company's portfolio.
Really loved the product man! The companies showing up in locations and filtering them feels solid.
I like the location based filtering, where I can only see jobs across Hyderabad only.
I honestly like the whole platform concept. I hate the job boards cause I can’t find anything over there. I like that I can look at the areas I would like working in and find companies accordingly.
I found my next job at NextDoor.Company. Found a company last month that I have not seen anywhere else but listed on NextDoor.Company. Applied to the job and cracked it. Joining this month, so, super cool product! The interface design feels super smooth and is filled with high quality jobs within each area, which helped me to find the perfect role & location fit. The platform is also religiously adding new opportunities on regular intervals, which is a plus.
It's so natural to search for jobs nearby just like we do for restaurants. The design makes it effortless and personal. I love how it connects opportunity to your actual neighborhood.
Finally, a refreshing way to explore new opportunities and importantly, active ones. The overall platform is working flawlessly. Love how you have pulled this off Sankalp! 🔥
I explored the web app today and it looks incredibly clean, intuitive, and sharply focused. I loved the idea of clustering companies when multiple ones are located in the same spot. The global listings, filters, zooming, and “Go to my location” feature all work smoothly; truly butter-smooth. And the newly introduced background music feature is just the perfect cherry on top. You’re genuinely making job hunting fun. I also appreciate how you’ve structured the company details in a compact pop-up with the option to expand into the sidebar for a more detailed view. Everything is absolutely top-notch.
The whole experience of searching a job is different on this platform, something I have wanted because every time I check an opening, I probably go to the company's address and try to find where it is exactly on the map. This solves for that. The filtering system is amazing, like there are a lot of options. The whole zoom-out, zoom-in, and drag-to-rotate the globe interaction is beautiful.
My instant reaction was...“Bang on! This is awesome.” NextDoor.Company came at the perfect time for me. I was all over the place searching for jobs and company details, and it was draining my energy. Now I can simply filter companies hiring for my role and the best part is, I can even see everything on the map.
The map makes discovering startups super intuitive, and having all the information on one page makes job hunting completely hassle-free. I even found openings here that weren't listed on the company's official website. Great product! 👏
If you're tired of the noise on LinkedIn, this is the answer. NextDoor.Company cuts through the clutter and connects you directly with high-quality startups hiring actively. It’s become my go-to for finding interesting companies that I wouldn't have found anywhere else.
NextDoor.Company shows jobs and companies on a map, which sounds small but changes how it feels. Seeing opportunities around me made the job search less abstract. It replaced the fear of “there are no jobs” with the sense that there are many, I just haven't seen them yet.
TBH I love the interface, feels less stressful when I see so many startups in a location - means job abundance is there. It’s a unique way of job hunting. Found a lot of opportunities in partnership roles that I am actively looking. The hunt is on!
Really liked the concept of browsing through jobs on a map. Good info about startups in the details pane. Great copy, UI, typography overall. Also very smooth to use.
I can proudly recommend NextDoor.Company as a job portal. It gives me access to job openings without any unnecessary fluff. I found a lot of new opportunities that had no presence on LinkedIn. Best part, I can search on the map which is a delight!
Scrolling jobs on a map flicked a switch in my head, imbuing a dose of whimsy and ease into an otherwise cumbersome process. Lifetime subscription was a no-brainer!
Product is really good in terms of experience. It really feels surreal to see cluster of jobs in specific area. Applying to jobs also feels easypeasy with few clicks. i.e. you just simply apply.
I came across NextDoor.Company on my feed and I genuinely love the platform! It’s so easy to find jobs. TBH, at first I didn’t get the map thing but after a while, once I got the hang of it, there’s no going back. It’s actually been really helpful for me.
I LOVED the extra information on the companies listed i.e. the company size, the links, funding, etc. Company profile and industry was especially helpful and a key factor in decision making.
If you are looking for jobs with the next unicorn - then this product is what will work for you. The natural use of maps - means navigating to your next job is as easy as mapping your route home. Filters, search tags, all make it very intuitive. All of this in a great mobile-friendly web app too. The alternatives in the market are not even close. I find the data source is robust, reliable, and constantly updated. I would NOT consider any alternative for a job search given the clarity with which this service was designed. With a healthy mix of all types of companies - startups, to series a/b/c companies - you will be hard pressed to find something that does not suit you. And Sankalp is the cherry on this lovely cake - because he listens and helps.
The platform is really good in terms of user experience. The globe view helps a lot with checking out jobs at a specific location and the companies you've listed are pretty good ones. Great job with the product!
I signed up for a lifetime access because it's was great to see all the startups all at one place through a map. Also, the product really helped me get in touch with the founders so it's a pretty cool tool.
I really like using the product. It's super clean and easy to use, and everything seems to make sense. I like that it doesn't try to make things too complicated. It really is hard to find something this simple that works so well. Really appreciate the work you’ve put into it.
Strong job filters and overall functionality. Everything worked smoothly out of the box. Very clean and colorful UI/UX with fun touches across the app. Felt engaging. Map-based verified jobs is THE standout feature; super useful for local searches. Good luck scaling it up!
NextDoor.Company's listings are selectively curated which is great! And the UI is really clean, unlike other job search platform.
It does an amazing job showing all the companies hiring in a specific area. Although I took an offer from someplace else, but I did get interviews from the startups who're listed on the platform. I have recommended it to all my friends. It's an amazing platform.
The app looked truly impressive, clean, intuitive, and very easy to understand and navigate. The overall user experience felt smooth and well thought out.
As an active person looking to switch, I loved the idea that I can look at places nearby and then find - like it solves the pain point perfectly.
My experience using the platform was great. Search filters worked as expected. On LinkedIn, jobs posted by the companies do feel like engagement bait because they keep reposting the same/similar jobs refreshing every month and never get back. Overall, UI is simple and works as intended so love it and thank you so much for building it.
I used it for about a month and it was quite helpful in terms of applying to YC backed startups. It showed pretty relevant information and it wasn’t as boring as other existing job boards.
The product is exciting because I found jobs in a different way than usual. Found the company details like investments, benefits, hiring locations, etc, really useful during searches.
The product is great. I like how easy to find out an opening and that it's so user-friendly. What's great is that you are adding more companies consistently.
As someone working in Talent Acquisition who regularly uses multiple job boards, I found the overall experience to be refreshingly simple and well-designed compared to many other platforms. The UI is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate, making the job search experience seamless. Browsing opportunities and keeping track of applications is straightforward. I also appreciate the wide variety of opportunities available across startups from early-stage ventures to well-established companies and across diverse roles and functions, making it easy to discover relevant opportunities based on different career interests and experience levels.
The UI and way to go about finding roles is really good. No complaints there!
This app completely redefines job hunting. It's fun, visual, and super intuitive. Seeing where companies are hiring on a map, with all the key insights and metrics in one place, makes exploring opportunities effortless. A truly well-crafted and smartly designed product!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS 🥹. I got one internship perfect for my role and I applied for it!!! I don't think I'd have come across it if it wasn't for NextDoor.Company. And the pop up has almost all the required information that I would want to see. If you're looking for your next startup role, this is genuinely worth checking out. 🚀
Heyy Sankalp! Really liking the experience so far. Information about companies are spot on, exactly what I'd want to see and first glance. Definitely found some companies that I've not heard of before or found their job postings on LinkedIn. The app experience feels super clean. 🤌🏻
NextDoor.Company has become one of my go to places when it comes to applying and exploring job opportunities. Interface is quite clean and to the point which is great, leads to easier exploration. Timely greetings are a nice touch. All in all a solid 11/10 product imo (waay better than current products out there)
You never know when your dream role might be right down the street. That’s what I realized when I used NextDoor.Company. Instead of endlessly scrolling on you-know-where, I could explore startups hiring in my neighborhood — sometimes even in my building. Seeing opportunities on a map made the search feel more real, and exciting. Love it!
I love it! I’m surprised by how detailed the meta-data is on each of the job listings. Love the filters, makes the search even easier. The globe implementation just takes it to a different level - looking at jobs around the world feels real now, it’s no more just [City, Country].
Thoroughly impressed by Sankalp's latest product i.e. NextDoor.Company. It's so interactive and amazing to use! As a designer, the UX is absolutely 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 The amount of insights and details I got about companies, I didn't even know existed. And “Actively hiring” has absolutely blown me! This is an appreciation post. I would ask everyone to give it a try. It is game-changing product. Makes all other job boards look ancient and pathetically boring. Oh and it also plays very soothing chill beats that definitely calms your nerves while performing such a stressful activity!
NextDoor.Company is a true game-changer for hyper-local job search. It tackles the overlooked, yet crucial, problem of connecting local talent with genuine, nearby opportunities. By cutting through the noise of massive job boards, it delivers real, local results, making it the cleanest and most efficient way to find great jobs in your neighborhood. This is precisely how modern communities should connect talent, and the platform is an essential tool for startups looking to fill their local openings.
I genuinely didn’t know that nearby companies were hiring for my role. That’s a real problem, and NextDoor.Company solves it really well. Makes local job opportunities visible which helps discover nearby companies hiring for relevant roles quite easily. Saves time compared to random job boards. I love that it has clear focus on local hiring, which most platforms ignore. Sankalp is building something practical with NextDoor.Company. It fixes a real gap in job searching, especially for people who want opportunities close to where they live.
NextDoor.Company is a one stop visual portal into world of startups! I love the fact that we get all info about founders and their socials that we can reach out to. I’ve already applied in a few companies since I bought access. And of course the intuitive “map of companies” takes the trophy 🏆 :)
Stumbled upon NextDoor.Company and realised that this is something that was always needed but never thought of. A user friendly interface driven by the idea of solving user pain points is exactly what I wanted from a platform being a recent graduate looking for opportunities.
I have been using NextDoor.Company for a while and it’s very helpful for me to hunt jobs based on places. It gives an overview of all job in specific places which is a super crazy feature. Enjoying using thoroughly. No complaints.
A fresher looking for a job in Bangalore this side 👋. This was and probably will be the only paid job hunt subscription I’d ever take. I took a leap of faith and got the lifetime subscription with my savings. The platform is simple, focused, and shows quality job opportunities without unnecessary clutter. It made my job search feel more organized and less overwhelming. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for the roles at startups. And small but cool features like profile links of founders of companies are super helpful as the whole process of a job hunt doesn’t only depend on applying to multiple companies but its more sophisticated and involves reaching out and connecting with decision makers at each company. Really loving the whole setup.
Found NextDoor.Company and the product nails 3 things. Neat visuals. Crisp UX. And a bunch of startups that I haven't seen elsewhere.
Really loved the approach as the platform is quite intuitive. Might have underestimated the platform initially :) One unexpected benefit is that I am now not restricted to look for jobs in Bangalore only. And with this product, I got an idea about how visible the job market was from other countries - which is usually not the case if I am not actively looking for them. Overall really like how intuitive the product is. Love how you are building this! ✨
I genuinely like the concept of having startups and their key details in one place, which is refreshing and very useful, especially for people actively job hunting. The platform feels clean and focused. I like how startup information is presented clearly, and the idea of discovering companies beyond the usual LinkedIn/job portal cycle is a big plus. Browsing by industry also helped me discover startups I wouldn't have otherwise looked into.
Great thing about NextDoor.Company is the product experience itself. Getting to know which areas the companies are hiring and where they are located is a great way to find your next job.
The product is really good! Got to see a bunch of new companies / startups which were not present in other job listings. Love the UX and the fact that it's similar to the maps interface that we all know is good; great as user experience.
Really loving the platform. It was easy for me to apply for jobs based on location and some of the openings were not there in other platforms. Made my life easier. Overall I love it!
I love how simple it is to use. Very easy to find openings as well as relevant details regarding it. Something I found very helpful was the details of founders and their social links to connect and chat with them. And I loved the vibe with small touches like music in the background - makes it less stressful.
I’ve been exploring the platform and really like the idea of discovering startups in a more human, curated way. Still early, but so far the experience feels smooth and thoughtful. Appreciate you building this!
Great idea! It’s something I’ve wanted for a while. Location of the workplace has a massive impact on our lives but it’s rarely given the importance it deserves in a typical job search.
The product is really helpful. Getting to know some companies near my area which I never knew they were so close to my house. Used it a few times till now and the experience was good.
I really liked how different and thoughtfully designed the platform felt compared to typical job portals. The UI, fun calming music, and overall experience made job searching feel much less stressful. The filters and usability have also improved a lot since I first used it.
The map system is ingenious! A major pain point while applying is seeing how the commute will be. It’s a hidden problem that often surfaces after one has got an offer. This platform helped me sort on the basis of how easy it will be to commute. The option to target EU and US based companies also becomes easier with the map based system.
The product is easy to very use, minimilistic, and accurate in terms of information/data, unlike LinkedIn. Good number of openings are showing up which at least gives people a chance to get responses while appling through your app, which is most important
I genuinely loved the map-based discovery. It feels fresh compared to the usual job-board experience. I also asked a couple of friends to try it.
I found the platform interesting and ended up taking a subscription. Overall, I've had a good experience with it. It's helped me discover a lot of startups that I probably wouldn't have come across otherwise, and having important company information consolidated in one place is really useful. The platform has saved me a lot of time during my search which is a genuinely helpful.
Loved your platform, unique and actually makes job hunting fun, which is rather a very tedious job. More specifically, as a budding designer myself, I found the design quite amazing, clean and very user friendly.
I discovered NextDoor.Company through one of Sankalp's social posts and was genuinely impressed. It's a great place to discover quality job opportunities beyond LinkedIn. It feels like a world-class platform built in India. As a designer, marketer, and creator, I highly recommend it. The UI is clean, the value far outweighs the one-time subscription cost.
