This Privacy Policy explains how IE Rafayel Khachatryan, 244 L. Madoyan, Gyumri, Shirak, Republic of Armenia (“Sideeye,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), processes personal information in connection with sideeye.company and related products, reports, and services (collectively, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Where Sideeye determines the purposes and means of processing, it acts as the applicable data controller or analogous responsible person.
1.Information We Process
We may process:
- account and authentication data, including email address, account identifiers, login records, and authentication status;
- information you submit, including websites, business descriptions, competitors, brands, commercial accounts, support requests, and communications;
- technical and usage data, including IP address, browser and device data, pages viewed, activity, referral data, UTM parameters, logs, diagnostics, and error records;
- payment and subscription-status data, such as transaction IDs, selected plan, billing interval, payment status, renewal status, and refund status;
- publicly available information concerning brands, businesses, products, companies, and commercial social-media accounts, including public handles, URLs, captions or metadata, thumbnails, publication details, and public performance metrics; and
- analytics and session-replay information collected through PostHog.
The Service is intended for commercial competitive intelligence. It is not intended to monitor private individuals or collect the substantive content of ordinary users’ social-media comments.
2.Purposes and Legal Bases
We process information to operate, secure, administer, maintain, analyze, improve, and provide the Service; authenticate users; generate reports; manage subscriptions; respond to inquiries; prevent fraud and abuse; measure advertising effectiveness; communicate with users; and comply with legal obligations.
Where required by applicable law, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- performance of a contract;
- legitimate interests, including security, fraud prevention, analytics, product improvement, and protection of legal rights;
- consent, including for non-essential cookies, marketing, or advertising technologies; and
- compliance with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, or judicial obligations.
3.Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use cookies, local storage, pixels, scripts, and similar technologies for authentication, security, analytics, debugging, product improvement, and advertising measurement.
We use PostHog for analytics, telemetry, and session replay. We may use Meta and TikTok technologies for attribution, conversion measurement, audience creation, retargeting, and campaign optimization. Those providers may receive technical, device, cookie, referral, campaign, and interaction information.
Where required, we obtain consent before activating non-essential technologies. You may withdraw consent or request to opt out by contacting rafayel@sideeye.company.
4.Service Providers and Disclosures
We may disclose information to service providers and third parties reasonably necessary to operate the Service, including:
- Hetzner, for hosting and infrastructure;
- PostHog, for analytics and session replay;
- OpenAI, for report-related AI processing;
- Google and Apple, for authentication;
- Dodo Payments or another merchant of record, for payments, tax, fraud, chargeback, and transaction administration;
- Meta and TikTok, for advertising and measurement;
- public-data and technical providers supporting commercial-account intelligence;
- professional advisers, insurers, auditors, regulators, courts, and public authorities; and
- parties involved in a merger, financing, restructuring, sale, or similar corporate transaction.
Payment providers may independently process card, billing, tax, fraud, identity-verification, and chargeback information. Sideeye does not ordinarily store complete payment-card credentials.
We may disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; protect rights, property, systems, or users; or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
5.Artificial Intelligence
We may use third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, to generate summaries and process report-related information. We do not use customer confidential information to train third-party foundation models.
AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or erroneous and must not be treated as authoritative fact.
6.International Transfers
Sideeye operates from Armenia. Information may be processed in Armenia, the European Economic Area, the United States, and other jurisdictions in which Sideeye or its service providers operate. Such jurisdictions may have different data-protection laws.
Where legally required, Sideeye will implement appropriate transfer safeguards.
7.Retention and Security
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.
Following a valid account-deletion request, we generally delete or anonymize relevant account information within 30 days, subject to necessary retention for backups, security, fraud prevention, disputes, legal claims, tax, accounting, regulatory compliance, and recordkeeping. Backup copies may remain for approximately 14 additional days. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained indefinitely.
We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards.
8.Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, and opt-out from certain advertising-related processing. You may also lodge a complaint with an applicable supervisory authority.

9.Commercial-Account Removal Requests
An authorized representative of a brand, business, company, or commercial account may request removal or restriction of relevant information by emailing rafayel@sideeye.company and identifying the entity, account, relevant URLs, and authority to act.
Subject to verification and applicable law, Sideeye may remove, restrict, suppress, or cease displaying the requested information.
10.Children and Third Parties
The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly permit accounts for, persons under 18 years of age. We may delete information and terminate accounts associated with ineligible users.
This Policy does not govern third parties’ independent processing activities. Third-party platforms, identity providers, payment processors, analytics providers, and linked services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
11.Changes and Contact
We may amend this Policy from time to time. The current version is identified by the “Last Updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
